，适逢应和会馆190周年会庆，双庆双喜，不仅新加坡的乡亲已淮备大事庆祝，我们更衷心欢迎海外乡亲也来和我们一道热闹、共襄义举。

不论是本会的周年庆曲典，或是第三届世界嘉应同乡联谊大会的举行，我们的一个极为重要的理念，就是大力弘扬我们嘉应传统文化，并构

建一个平台，让全球的嘉应同乡有机会齐集一堂、交换讯息、加强合作、商业往来。 可预期及展望，双庆双喜肯定让与会乡亲欢聚一堂

，在不同领域发展的乡亲，更可以借比良机，互相切磋，交换心得，进而合作双赢。

This year, Yong Fo Fui Kun of Singapore is having a celebration for being in existence for 190 years. And it is going be a 'double

happiness affair' as our association is also hosting the 'The 3rd World Ka Yib Association Convention '. We have the pleasure in

extending our invitation to the Ka Yin community from around the world to join us on this occasion to be held between 2nd and 4th

November 2012 at Raffles City Convention Centre, Singapore.

Our theme for the convention is, " Value the richness of our Hakka's roots; Cherish our Hakka's founding legacy" and we are

celebrating our 190th Anniversary on this sentiment to promote the Hakka's culture and to foster friendship . It is an opportunity not

to be missed, where there would be exchange of views as well as trade development and co-operation.

Singapore is known as a 'Garden City' and has international standard conference and convention halls, advance communication

system and is also a shopping haven and food paradise. A young and vibrant country well-known for its financial stability and national

security with the varied lifestyles due to a multi-racial and multi-lingual society. The friendliness and hospitality of the people here

would surely make your visit a memorable one.

The working committee and I are gearing up for the occasion to an attendance of 1,500 delegates, members and friends. We would

ensure those attending benefit from these events and enjoy the programmes we prepare for them.
